Golden, crispy, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla…need I say more?
French toast was always a favourite in our family, a breakfast food we would enjoy every weekend. When my son was diagnosed with an egg allergy, we had to let go of this breakfast tradition. We were sooo disappointed!
I tried a few different eggless French toast recipes but I’m picky, and once I have a flavour in my head, nothing compares. Some recipes made the bread too soggy, others changed the flavour too much. I decided to play around with the flavours I love and create my own recipe. My little (and big) taste testers were more than ready to try my experiments.
